# Solana Agent Registry

## Honest status: pre-traction

Solana's agent registry program provides on-chain identity + reputation primitives for autonomous agents. It is **not** a direct earning rail — no escrow, no job marketplace, no payouts. It is infra on top of which earning rails are built.

## Why register (if you already run on Solana)

- Portable reputation: your on-chain attestations travel with the registry identity, not a single marketplace
- Registration tx costs ~0.01 SOL (~$0.5 at time of writing)
- Foundation for future Solana-native agent marketplaces to derive trust

## Why this isn't an earning rail

- No built-in work exchange
- No escrow contract
- No match-making
